Liberty 080 Curved Bench with Backrest

The Liberty.080 curved bench with backrest brings a fluid, sculptural quality to public and commercial outdoor spaces. Designed by Diemmebi R&D, this 90° curved module is built on the same slatted-seat language as the rest of the Liberty.080 collection, with independently pitched aluminium slats that sweep around the curve to form a continuous, inviting seating line.

The bench is offered with a choice of square, trapezium, or infinity leg profiles, allowing it to be configured to suit different settings, and its modular design supports flexible, curved seating layouts across parks, plazas, and streetscapes.

Construction
The seat modules consist of under-seat beams made from 40x40x2 mm square tube in Sendzimir galvanised steel, with independent EN46100 die-cast aluminium slats positioned at an 87 mm pitch (an 80 mm slat plus a 7 mm gap). The entire structure is finished with polyester powder coating. The side frames are made from 5 mm thick DD11 steel sheet, subsequently cold galvanised and finished with polyester powder coating. The bench is not supplied with anchors for ground fixing; it is always supplied with glides, which must be fitted if the elements are not fixed to the ground.

Sustainability
The bench is 100% recyclable and made in Italy from aluminium and galvanised steel. The Liberty.080 collection has been tested to UNI EN ISO 9227:2024, successfully passing a 600-hour salt spray exposure test.

Due to the complex geometry of the slat with backrest, slight aesthetic irregularities may occur in the sublimation pattern; this is an intrinsic characteristic of the artisanal production process.
